We target families of children from infants to pre-teen.
The Senior Sales Associate is responsible for taking care of our customers. Your primary focus will be investing time to understand the customer‘s needs – then using your product expertise to recommend the perfect toy or educational product! You will also complete the sales transaction, personalize items, gift-wrap, and will assist with inventory and merchandising.
Key responsibilities include: proactively seeks opportunities to improve business results; offers assistance to customers and demonstrates deep product expertise to complete a sale; goes the ‘extra mile’ and understands importance of stellar customer service; assists in controlling expenses, shrinkage and inventory levels; assists in implementation of marketing programs, special projects & in-store events; creates and implements merchandising themes to effectively display and sell product.
Every associate on our team must meet or exceed the following behavioral expectations: desires to have fun while ‘working’; enjoys a family-oriented, kid-friendly environment; maintains unwavering focus on delighting the customer and building relationships; communicates with energy and optimism; fosters collaboration among teammates and treats each with respect; exhibits an eagerness to learn, develop and grow through ongoing coaching and on-the-job training.
Retail experience strongly preferred. Flexibility on hours is critical - including day shifts, evenings and weekends.
