The Retail Sales Consultant position with AT&T has the following responsibilities: • Providing a consistently excellent customer service experience by maintaining the highest degree of courtesy, confidentiality and professionalism. • Maintaining strong knowledge of new wireless products, accessories, pricing plans, promotions and service features. • Educating and engaging customers through product demonstrations. • Meeting sales objectives for wireless phones, services and accessories. • Handling all administrative aspects of the sale including: completing customer contracts and warranties, pulling products from inventory, accepting customer payments and filing the completed orders. • Handling phone inquires from customers on billing issues, payments, upgrades, service changes returns. • Interfacing with other departments on customer's behalf when necessary. • Maintaining store appearance including store opening and closing procedures.
Position Qualification:
1-2 years sales experience, including prospecting, telemarketing and/or outside sales.
Ability to work extended hours, including evenings and weekends and holidays. Ability to operate a computer, wireless equipment, copier and fax. Ability to work at multiple locations within district preferred. Familiarity with wireless terminology and AT&T systems preferred.
